What is MagSafe?

MagSafe is a magnetic technology integrated into the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 series. To take advantage of your iPhone's MagSafe feature, the accessories you use must either have built-in MagSafe or be MagSafe compatible.

When using a MagSafe charger, card holder or car holder, simply place it on the back of your iPhone and the MagSafe unit will automatically adjust the position for a perfect fit. The magnets in both your iPhone and the accessories ensure a precise adjustment.

To determine if your phone has MagSafe, it must be an iPhone 12, 13, 14, or 15. If you have a different model but use a MagSafe case, you will still be able to take advantage of the same features as the MagSafe case also contains magnets.
